- Redentore Monument
At the top of Mount Guglielmo - that separates the crack of Mid-Trompia Valley from Lake Iseo - a monument dedicated to the Savoiur has been erected. Giorgio Montini, the father of Pope Paul VI, strongly wanted this sculpture. The monument had been inauguarated and sanctified on August, 24th, 1902. Giovanni Battista Monitini was 5 years old. Since then, on the third week of July, many pilgrims travel all the way up to the mountain top to honour Holy Mary of Reception (Madonna dell'Accoglienza) and Pope Paul VI. Indeed, here we can find a bronze statue dating back to 1988.
